Swing bridge tide times
The swing bridge crosses the entrance between the lockhead and the marina. It has to be opened for vessels to pass, and it is opened around high water.
Current times
No swing bridge tide times are published for the period from 18/09/2026 onwards.
That is stated plainly because it is the position inherited on transfer. The outgoing operator published these times one month at a time, and only June 2026 and July 2026 were available when the handover records were taken. Nothing is published for August 2026 or later.

How the bridge relates to the lock
The lock gates open from 1.5 hours before high water to 1.5 hours after in normal operation, and the times move on neap tides and during sluicing and dredging. Bridge times follow the tide in the same way.
