Code compliance
The Code, refreshed in April 2025, sets a national standard for port marine safety. The duty holder reports compliance to the Maritime and Coastguard Agency every three years.

About the Code
The Ports and Marine Facilities Safety Code is owned by the Department for Transport, with the Maritime and Coastguard Agency overseeing delivery. It applies to harbour authorities and to marine facilities, berths and terminals, including marinas, boatyards, pontoons, moorings and slipways.

- A statement of the authority's compliance with the Code.
- The date compliance was last reported to the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.
